What does Financial Freedom Mean to YOU?

financial freedomWhen you ask people to define financial freedom, you will certainly get a unique answer each time because not everyone defines financial freedom the same way.  Not every one comes from the same perspective. If I were to ask you what financial freedom is, what would be the first thing that comes to your mind?

To some, financial freedom is being able to buy anything they want or need. The money to take lavish vacations, buy expensive cars, boats, wear expensive clothes, jewelry, live in luxurious homes. Their definition of financial freedom is being wealthy.

There are those who see financial freedom as being completely debt free, owning all of their possessions- no mortgage, credit-card payments or car payments. The thought of never receiving another statement or having to pay high interest, to them, is freedom. They define financial freedom as having no bills to pay or not having to bat an eye when it is time to pay the bills.

Many believe that earning a decent salary is financial freedom. Being able to easily cover all expenses and still have enough to enjoy a frew good vacations while also being able to handle most emergency situations, without putting a strain on their family. Financial freedom to them means earning a salary that allows them to live reasonably.

Others see financial freedom as having enough savings to retire for the rest of their lives, at a young age. No daily commute, demanding boss, or deadlines to face. Not having to punch a clock or be someone else’s employee. The ability to pursue their own interests, hobbies, and passions.  To them, financial freedom means not having to work a nine to five, five days a week job that we have all been programmed to do.

Some see financial freedom as having an extra income from a good investment, adding to their present income, boosting their financial status. They search daily for low risk, high return investments. Being able to add to their present income to them, means financial freedom.

A lot of people believe a well-padded nest-egg is financial freedom. Having enough money to enjoy a good retirement is a great concern for many. Some people pinch and save most of their lives, padding their retirement account. They believe financial freedom means having a fat nest-egg.

There are some who actually believe financial freedom is having nothing at all. Working for cash, staying under the government’s radar. Taking the bus or riding a bike, bumming a ride, not having the burden of owning a car. Their definition of financial freedom is having no possessions at all that they have to be responsible for!

Financial freedom means different things to different people. How would you define financial freedom? I would love to hear your thoughts!

  1. Hello people.
I have something to say, about Aloe Vera, something about which you wrote above, about health and weight loss management… For a long time, I and my fine friend use the products of the forever living products. We many times see the fine results and also we make money for our families and we are happy. My friend works with Aloe in the company of forever living has more than 5 years (My friend works ONLY in the forever living products company and has a wife and three children). I know aloe vera products for weight management for a long time, but a year ago, began working as a distributor in the flp company.
Of course, the job is so hard, but in no other case, You really can earn so much much money with so much much fun and smiling faces around.
So if you want to discuss something about your article, and about my experience with aloevera products for personal care, I’ll always be glad to talk.

Best regards from Seattle and have a nice day!
